Our Process
-
1. Architects Rendition
Either supply your architect's design or work with our architect to come up with a design.
-
2. Conversion
The project is then designed using FrameCAD's software and then sent to our machines for production.
-
3. Production
Integrated Steel will create each piece of the project right in our factory and label them accordingly to ensure that assembly is quick and seamless.
-
4. Individual Components
Each component is cut, detailed, notched, and pre-punched for fastener holes to exact specifications of your design.
-
5. Assembly
Once the steel beams are cut, they are ready for assembly. The project can be assembled on-site or at a remote location. The frames are assembled and screwed together to form panels, trusses and joists.
-
6. Frame Erection
Because it is produced on-site, there are no logistics costs, risks or waiting for corrected metal. The 100% engineered material is immediately positioned for quick and east assembly.
-
7. Construction
Once the erection of the frame is complete, the project is ready to be clad together. The final project in completion will be materialized with unskilled and 2/3 less labor, in 50% less time.
THE INTEGRATED PROCESS
Integrated Steel is a manufacturing company that has partnered with FRAMECAD to deliver CFS while incorporating in-house design through a sister company, Integrated Design.
Both companies are located in the Grand Forks North Simplot Development within the same 19,200 square foot facility so that we can better ensure a quick and easy process for our customers.
VERSATILITY OF DESIGN
-
Lightweight & high strength make it an ideal building material.
- Modular and pre-fabricated units
- Multi-story hotels
- Hospitals
- Schools
- Multi-story housing
FASTER ROI
Speed of construction, accuracy and reduced labor costs, with less waste (< 1%) – whereas traditional methods waste up to 20%. Structural grade steel is consistent so no need to worry about a weak direction or grain. Not reliant on water-cement ratios. Long term maintenance stables steel, resistant to rot, mold, termite and insect infestation. Ideal for mass production through repeatable designs with insurance discounts.

Why Integrated Steel?
- Construction 20%-50% faster
- Simplify material requirements
- Lighter than other framing materials
- Less scrap and waste
- Engineered to meet the design
- Recycled and recyclable
- Precision means fewer call backs
Benefits of Steel
- No mold or mildew
- Insect-proof
- No off-gassing or chemicals
